About Rishika

I am a foodie relishing the flavors tasted around the world by recreating at home. Cooking for me is what meditation is for everybody, helping me relax and rejuvenate my life. With the Awadhi cuisine I intend to showcase the fine line between a Dum Biryani & Colored Pulao. The tenderness of kebabs and typical flavors of vegetables cooked at our home along with some doses of my connect with food. Cooking is our expression of the desire to connect people with the food that we had relished in USA. During our 12 year stay in the USA, flavours of Desiland drove our passion to cook food... Now that we are back home in India...the cravings got reversed and now we look out for the Buffalo Wild Wings, the Italian Stuffed Ravioli, the Mexican Chimichanga, the French Onion Soup Bowl and the all American Smoky Barbeque. We soon realised that Mayo in India is not the same as Mayo in USA and the list goes on and on. So we started getting our condiments, spices and sauces from New Hampshire, USA. To satisfy our cravings we started cooking all the recipes that we savoured back in USA and we refer to this as “American Cuisine”. This is an attempt to combine various flavours from the villages and towns of USA and offer them in a six course meal( through 10 - 13 items). Most of the recipes are family owned shared by our local friends and are not available in the chain restaurants.
